After moving back home to Michigan from Colorado, Daniel and Lauren, along with their big Great Dane fur-child named Gizmo, rented a home in Lowell. It was very small and, because they were renting, they couldn’t make the types of changes that they’d have made to their own home.
Once they determined that they were going to stay and put down roots here, they decided they wanted to become homeowners. “We talked so much about owning a place of our own,” they said. “We were really excited to find a home with character and the amount of land we wanted, with privacy and space for lots of projects and gardening, which are things we love.”
As they moved forward with this huge life change, they hired Brooke to help them find a home that met those important criteria. “Brooke was great! She never pushed us or rushed us to make a decision. She was straightforward about pricing, advising us on how to proceed when homes weren’t in line with the market. She was extremely professional but, at the same time, she felt like a friend working hard to help us buy our first home.”
By not feeling rushed in a highly-active market, or getting discouraged, Daniel and Lauren were able to take their time with their search. They found Brooke, who they felt was the right realtor for them, and they had an extremely positive experience finding and purchasing their first home.
