Holler “Happy New Year” With Your Kids
Kids love a ball drop, but it can be awfully tough to make it to midnight. Instead, join the kid-friendly fun at our awesome local Grand Rapids Children’s Museum. Your family can enjoy snacks, sip sparkling juice, and holler “Happy New Year” long before midnight —their ball drops at 7:30 PM. Registration is required.
If your kids can stay awake a bit longer, your family can spend New Year’s Eve cheering on the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team. They take on the Chicago Wolves this year at 6 PM and the fun doesn’t end when the game is over. Stay for the beautiful indoor fireworks show, and then head down to the ice enjoy the open skate on the Van Andel Arena ice rink.
