Brooke was a God send when it came time for my new family to buy our first home together…We didn’t have an exact timetable to buy so it was a long grueling process of looking at homes all over the greater Grand Rapids Area. Brooke and her team were there for every moment and in every facet of the search. In all, the process was roughly 5 months of sifting through house after house. I wanted very particular criteria for the home and changed my mind on things I wanted a few times. Brooke couldn’t have been more up to the task. She even offered to personally cover an additional appraisal for a home we really liked that came in a little low on our bank’s side. She negotiated the price we wanted on the home we eventually bought and was right there with a gift at our close. Besides her great pedigree as an agent, she went over and beyond to make us feel like family. We attended a catered open house with her other clients this summer and she even offered to through us a house warming after we were settled into our new home. In all, there would be no other name I could recommend above Brooke Slocum as an agent for buying any property.

Who says you can’t sell a home in the winter? When we were ready to sell, Brooke said go for it and we did! Listed on Thursday, Open House on Saturday, and started getting offers by Monday. We were able to choose the best offer for us with Brooke’s guidance, and closed on our home quickly. Brooke is professional and straightforward – loved working with her!

Brooke was amazing to work with. As first time home buyers, we really didn’t know what we were doing and relied on her to walk us through every step along the way. She was patient and took time to really teach us during the process so we felt comfortable making the right decisions. She was quick to respond to any request or question we might have had and made sure that we truly understood her answers.
